Once you’re signed up and have received your betting credits, scan the game analysis below to consider possible bets. You may find an interesting pick for your $5 pre-live moneyline wager.

New Orleans Saints (-4.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons recently handed the keys to rookie QB Desmond Ridder, who is scheduled to make his first start of the season Sunday, Dec. 18. A rookie QB making their first career start in the Caesars Superdome (formerly Mercedes-Benz Superdome) is not ideal, especially if the hosting Saints team is a divisional foe. That’s the situation Ridder finds himself in.

Controlling an offense on the road in a hostile environment is tough for even the most seasoned veterans at times, so it’s plausible to expect a rookie QB to struggle in this situation. Considering Ridder will be getting his first NFL action in this setting, covering the spread may be a little easier for the Saints in this one.

New England Patriots (ML/-110) at Las Vegas Raiders

Despite both QBs’ relatively poor play lately, it’s been the Patriots’ Mac Jones who has been able to limit his turnovers. In his last five games, he has thrown only one interception. Derek Carr, on the other hand, has thrown two interceptions in his last three games and at least one in each of his last three. If that streak continues, the extra possessions should be enough to help the Patriots secure this victory.

Arizona Cardinals (ML/+130) at Denver Broncos

This is an upset pick based on Denver Broncos’ starting QB Russell Wilson’s availability. Wilson took a huge hit in the fourth quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs that knocked him out of the game and into concussion protocol. The hit left a visible knot on his forehead and left many concerned for his health.

Denver hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Wilson’s return, but the Broncos have already been knocked out of playoff contention. When it comes down to the final decision, the team’s doctor and the NFL’s independent doctor could lean toward sitting him to avoid something worse playing out for all to see. Without Wilson, the Cardinals may have the edge in this matchup. The Cardinals’ backup QB Colt McCoy, who is stepping in for Kyler Murray, is more experienced than Brett Rypien, who would step in for Wilson should his number be called. QB options favor the Cardinals in this one, giving them favorable odds if this does turn into a battle between backups.
