The 2022 football season was a fantastic one for the Tennessee Volunteers. The Vols went 11-2 (6-2 SEC) in Josh Heupel’s second season as head coach, beating Florida, LSU, Alabama and Clemson on their way to matching the program’s most wins since 2001.

Tennessee also tied or broke 15 program records during the 2022 season as Hendon Hooker, Heupel and the rest of the Vols’ offense rewrote the program record books.

The Vols broke plenty of records that they set a year prior while also breaking Peyton Manning led passing records and rushing records from the 1950s.
