Super Bowl Betting Preview

QBs Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are all set to square off in Super Bowl 57. Mahomes is the lights out superstar with the experience, but Hurts has consistently found a way to get it done. Check out the review below for more the odds available at FanDuel Ohio and details of the matchup.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Point Spread: Eagles -1.5 (-114)

Moneyline: Eagles -124

Total Points: Over 49.5 (-114) | Under 49.5 (-106)

The Eagles haven’t faced much resistance to this point in the postseason, having steam rolled every team they have faced so far. However, Hurts hasn’t been as impressive in the Eagles’ two wins. In the playoffs, his passing performances have been less than stellar, averaging 137 yards through the air. The Eagles have gotten by on defense, which is the area of focus in this one.

Whether the Eagles can contain the Chiefs’ offense will be a critical factor. That will depend, in large part, on whether the trio of receivers who went out for the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game are good to go. No updates have been provided on the availability of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney, and Mecole Hardman.

If the trio does return, Hurts will have to up his passing performance to keep pace with the Chiefs. The Eagles cashed in on turnovers against the injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers last week, and those turnovers may not be there to help overcome the challenges of the Eagles’ offense if they continue in the Super Bowl.

NBA on TNT Thursday Betting Preview

Thirty games remain in the NBA season. Teams are in an all-out fight for positioning and working to establish chemistry ahead of the playoffs. TNT usually hosts some of the best games of the week on Thursday, and this week’s matchups don’t disappoint — at least on paper. If you want to use your No Sweat First Bet with the FanDuel Ohio promo code on one of the matchups, check out the previews below.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 6:30 p.m. ET

Thursday’s matchup is the second and final matchup between the two. The Grizzlies escaped with the 115-114 victory in the first game. However, the Cavs played without Donavan Mitchell, who is back on the court and should be available for this meeting.

This matchup will come down to the stars for both teams. The Cavs’ star-studded backcourt has been struggling offensively, while the Grizzlies aren’t getting much production beyond Ja Morant. Pivotal injuries were the deciding factor in the first game, and that may be so in this one. The Grizzlies are currently without Desmond Bane and Danny Green. Given the Grizzlies’ current shooting struggles, that may be too much for them to overcome and sweep the season series.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 9 p.m. ET

The Clippers have quietly won six of their last seven games and have moved up to fourth in the west. Most important for them is the recent play of Kawhi Leonard. He averaged 27 points, six rebounds, and four assists in January, helping the Clippers win eight of their 12 games in that stretch. That’s surely a welcome sight for Clippers fans.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton both recently returned from injury and have the Bucks on a blistering stretch. They have won seven of their last eight games and are averaging 127 points per game in that time span. The deciding edge in this matchup could be who wins from beyond the arc.

The Bucks shoot the three-ball nearly as much as anyone in the league, and the Clippers have allowed one of the highest opponent percentages from beyond the arc recently. That’s not good news against a team on a scoring stretch like the Bucks.
