Super Bowl Betting Preview

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Feb. 12, 5:30 p.m. CT (FOX)

Point Spread: Eagles -1.5 (-110)
Moneyline: Eagles -122
Total Points: Over 50.5 (-115) | Under 50.5 (-105)

The Eagles have dominated both sides of the ball all season long, and now both their offense and defense are in question. Considering the Eagles’ strength of schedule or lack thereof, can they maintain their level of dominance against the high-octane Chiefs? Additionally, Jalen Hurts has yet to pass for more than 200 yards in a playoff game. They dominated the San Francisco 49ers due to the turnovers, but if the Chiefs don’t turn over the ball, can the Eagles score enough?

The Eagles rely heavily on the run game, but despite four short-yardage touchdowns on the ground against the 49ers, they didn’t have much success. The run game cashed in on the turnovers, but they couldn’t keep the chains moving when they had to go the distance and didn’t have a single rusher over 50 yards in the game. The Chiefs don’t have the 49ers’ rush defense, but theirs is top 10 on the season.

The Eagles have coasted to this point despite glaring ailments on their offense. If the Chiefs can find success limiting their rushing attack, can Hurts put the team on his shoulders and find success in the passing game? He will have to do so at a level that keeps pace with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and company.

That question alone is probably why the Chiefs are 1.5-point underdogs despite possibly being down multiple wide receivers in the game. With that being said, there are various wagers to consider for the Chiefs in the upset, from the moneyline to Mahomes winning Super Bowl MVP. With the FanDuel Ohio promo code, the risk is a lot less, and the possible payouts are high due to the underdog odds.
