Prior to Tennessee’s game hosting South Carolina this Saturday night in Knoxville, head coach Rick Barnes met with the media on Friday afternoon to discuss his thoughts on the game ahead.
The Vols are looking to bounce back after a tough week and month combined. Tennessee is coming off of a midweek loss to No. 25 Texas A&M on the road, which is part of a month that has seen Tennessee go 2-5 across seven games.
This will be Tennessee’s second game against SEC Eastern foe South Carolina this season after the Vols traveled to Columbia in the month of January. Tennessee dominated South Carolina in that game by a score of 85-42 behind Olivier Nkamhoua’s 21 points.
