Class of 2024 shooting guard Jayden “Juke” Harris is announcing his college commitment on March 24, the four-star recruit announced Thursday.

Harris is choosing between a top six schools he released in January including Kansas, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

The Salisbury, North Carolina native is a blue-chip recruit and ranks as the No. 46 player and No. 9 shooting guard in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.

Harris officially visited Tennessee in the fall, the same weekend the Vol football team knocked off Alabama at Neyland Stadium.

The 6-foot-4 guard has been on a handful of other visits twice seeing Wake Forest and Virginia Tech and once visiting Houston. Harris has been to both Winston Salem and Blacksburg during the 2023 basketball season.

Tennessee has had plenty of success recruiting North Carolina under Rick Barnes landing Grant Williams, Jaden Springer Jonas Aidoo, and Freddie Dilione from the ‘Tar Heel State’. Barnes is a Hickory, North Carolina native and played his college basketball at Lenoir Rhyne— a Division II program.

The Vols have no players committed in the 2024 recruiting cycle though they have hosted a strong group of visitors including four-star point guard Ahmad Nowell earlier this week.
