LIVE Updates: Tennessee Football Orange and White Game

FINAL: ORANGE 17, WHITE 14

Tennessee football’s annual Orange and White Game is set to get underway in Neyland Stadium at 2:30 p.m. ET. SEC Network + has the stream.

Drive One (White):

White team goes three-and-out. Joe Milton overthrew his man on first down. Doneiko Slaughter made a nice pass breakup on third down.

Drive One (Orange):

Nice Iamaleava hits Cam Seldon for a first down. Nice catch-and-run from Seldon. Orange team can’t do anything on the next set of downs and punts away to Dee Williams, who has fair caught both punts.

Drive Two (White):

Gaston Moore and DeSean Bishop in the backfield for drive two. Moore hits Michael Bittner on a nice touch pass for a big first down (42 yards) to get into enemy territory.

A couple of Gaston Moore scrambles has the White team inside the 10.

Moore throws a strike to Dayton Sneed in the back corner of the end zone for a touchdown. Roughly a 7-yard score.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 0

Drive Two (Orange):

A nice Joe Milton scramble has the Orange Team approaching the 5o.

A physical McCallan Castles catch gets the Orange to the 50-yard-line before Milton is sacked on first down.

Milton can’t connect with McCallan Castles on third down, as Castles drops the pass.

Jackson Ross knocks a beautiful punt to pin the White Team inside the 5-yard line.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 0

Drive Three (White):

White team goes three-and-out. Ross’ punt comes up big for the Orange squad.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 0

Drive Three (Orange):

Orange team gets it with good field position. Gaston Moore scrambles before hitting Nigel Lanier for good yardage to get the team at the 50.

DeSean Bishop rumbles for a first down to get the Orange across the 40.

Moore hits Dayton Sneed to get the Orange inside the red zone before DeSean Bishop gets them inside the 10.

Jayson Jenkins stops Patrick Wilk on second down for a loss, but Moore then hits Hunter Salmon in stride for a nine-yard score.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 7

START OF SECOND QUARTER

Drive Four (White):

Addison Nichols coming in to replace a shaken up Cooper Mays at center on the first team.

Joe Milton is sacked on third down. Arion Carter is responsible for the sack.

Jackson Ross punts it away to Squirrel White who makes the fair catch.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 7

Drive Four (Orange):

Jalen Smith forces a Trey Weary fumble to end the drive. The Orange team had gotten across the 50 thanks to a couple dink and dunks, including catches from Cam Seldon and Ethan Davis for first downs. Nico Iamaleava was the quarterback.

SCORE: White 7, Orange 7

Drive Five (White):

Joe Milton hits Kaleb Webb in DOUBLE coverage for a 39-yard gain down inside the 15. Play of the day so far. Cam Seldon then runs inside the 5, breaking some tackles.

Milton hits Kaleb Webb for a four-yard touchdown. Impressive drive from Webb.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 7 // 3:06/2Q

Drive Five (Orange):

Nico Iamaleava scrambles across the -40. Great pocket awareness as Iamaleava evaded the sack nicely.

Iamaleava makes a candidate for play of the day. Rolls out right and delivers a strike to Ethan Davis down the sideline for about a 20-yard gain. Great throw on the run.

Cam Seldon then breaks a run for a 25+ yard touchdown. Was hardly touched.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 14

HALFTIME

Drive Six (Orange):

Trey Weary drops an easy catch on third down and the Orange team will punt. Kolby Morgan connects for a 55-yard punt.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 14

Drive Six (White):

Omarr Norman-Lott makes a good run stop on first down before sacking Joe Milton III on second down. Nice tackle from John Slaughter on third and long to bring the punting unit out.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 14

Drive Seven (Orange):

Nice field position for the Orange at about their own 45. Nico scrambles across the 50 for a first down. Iamaleava can’t connect with Nigel Lanier down the field on third down and the Orange Team will punt.

Wasn’t a bad throw, but would’ve been a great catch.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 14 // 2:45/3Q

Drive Seven (White):

Gaston Moore throws the first interception of the day. Throw is deflected and redshirt freshman Memphis native Cam Miller dives for the interception.

Orange has the ball across their own 40 with Joe Milton III back out at QB.

SCORE: White 14, Orange 14 // 1 min/3Q

START OF FOURTH QUARTER

Drive Eight (Orange):

Nico Iamaleava comes in for Joe Milton and makes a nice decision to keep it. Gets the first down across the 40.

Iamaleava evades another sack and crosses the 30-yard line with his legs.

Ethan Davis makes a PHYSICAL catch down at the 5-yard line for a first down. High throw from Nico but Davis hauls it in.

Miscommunication between Iamaleava and Lanier leads to an almost interception. Lanier did not turn his head.

Davis makes a tough catch at the sideline and is shaken up with an apparent shoulder injury. NOT the shoulder he had surgery on.

Iamaleava is sacked for a loss of 14.

J.T. Carver hits a 40-yard field goal.

White 14, Orange 17

Drive Eight (White):

Gaston Moore comes back in as QB. Moore takes an ugly sack as time expires.

FINAL: WHITE 14, ORANGE 17
