Former Tennessee football and current New York Giants WR Jalin Hyatt is already showing star potential just five days into training camp.

On Sunday, Hyatt reportedly set an NFL record by running 24 mph in practice, eclipsing Tyreek Hill’s record of a 23.2 mph speed.

While Hyatt has been torching the Giants first and second team in practice, he hasn’t been a one-dimensional, either.

Multiple highlights have appeared on Twitter over the past handful of days showing Hyatt running crips routes and making tough catches on the sideline while also making physical catches against tight coverage.

In a crowded receiving room without a stud, Hyatt has the potential to be a top three wideout for the G-Men this fall, but he needs a great fall camp to make it happen.

So far, the third-round pick is creating plenty of buzz that you typically see first-rounders make. Thus, the former Vol is currently putting himself in good position to see ample playing time in his rookie campaign.

RTI takes a deeper look at Hyatt’s hot start to training camp in the latest High & Tight, presented by Gambuzza’s Barbershop.
