Five-star class of 2025 prospect Caleb Wilson is unofficially visiting Tennessee basketball on Sept. 30, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported.

The power forward is one of the top prospects in the entire 2025 recruiting cycle. Wilson ranks as the No. 4 player and No. 3 power forward in his class according to the 247sports composite rankings.

A 6-foot-10, 200-pound prospect, Wilson is an Atlanta native who plays his prep basketball at Holy Innocents Episcopal School.

Wilson is entering a critical fall of unofficial visits and the Atlanta native is primarily looking at schools in the southeast and particularly in the SEC. The blue-chip recruit plans on unofficially visiting Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee in the next five weeks.

The five-star has also taken visits to Georgia and Georgia Tech in the last year.

Tennessee is still looking for its first commitment in both the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes. Rick Barnes and his staff missed on some of its top targets in the 2024 cycle earlier this summer and are currently laying the groundwork for their top targets in 2025.

Rick Barnes and his staff are hosting a pair of class of 2024 official visitors this weekend: four-stars Pharaoh Compton and Bishop Boswell.

The Vols are hosting a number of blue-chip class of 2025 prospects for visits this fall including Jeremiah Fears, Tylis Jordan, Aleks Alston and Jermaine O’Neal Jr.
