Tennessee football is down three players in its two-deep for Saturday evenings matchup against Austin Peay. Linebacker Keenan Pili, defensive tackle Elijah Simmons and center Cooper Mays are inactive for the game.

Tennessee announced that Pili will be out for multiple weeks earlier this week and the linebacker wasn’t dressed out during warmups.

Simmons is missing his second straight game with a lower body injury that occurred during fall practice. With the backup defensive tackle sidelined, Bryson Eason, Omarr Norman-Lott, Kurrott Garland and freshman Daevin Hobbs will all get additional snaps.

Mays is also missing his second straight game after he underwent a “minor procedure” early in fall practice. Ollie Lane slid over from left guard to center to start last week for Tennessee while senior Dayne Davis also played snaps at center.

The Vols rotated along their offensive line frequently last week and Josh Heupel expects that trend to continue.

Receiver Nathan Leacock, defensive end Chandavian Bradley and offensive tackle Masai Reddick are also not dressed out for the game though Tennessee never announced them as inactives.

Kickoff between Tennessee and Austin Peay is at 5 p.m. ET at Neyland Stadium. SEC Network+ is streaming the game.
