No. 9 Tennessee defeated Austin Peay by a score of 30-13 in Knoxville on Saturday evening. In a surprisingly challenging game for the Vols, Tennessee used the second half to their advantage and extended their lead over the Governors.
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media after the game to discuss his thoughts on the offense, on Joe Milton’s performance, on the Vols’ receiving core, and much more.
Additionally, four Tennessee players including quarterback Joe Milton, running back Jabari Small, defensive back Wesley Walker, and linebacker Aaron Beasley also spent some time with the media in pairs. Tennesee’s offensive players talked about getting settled into the game earlier while the defensive players spoke about what all went into the big performance on Saturday.
