How Tennessee’s Outgoing Transfers Fared in Week 6

Each week, we take a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers from the 2023 offseason fared in their new homes.

Let’s take a look at how the former Vols performed in Week 6 of the college football season.

WR Jimmy Calloway –Louisville

Caught hauled in one pass for four yards in the Cardinals’ massive 33-20 win over Notre Dame. Louisville is now No. 14 in the nation.

TE Miles Campbell – NC Central

Was not targeted in NC Central’s 34-23 win over Elon.

WR Jimmy Holiday – Western Kentucky

Holiday was the second-leading receiver in the Hilltoppers’ 35-28 win over Louisiana Tech, catching two passes for 27 yards. He did have a 21-yard reception.

QB Tayven Jackson – Indiana

BYE WEEK. Jackson will look to rebound after a poor Week 5 performance when he takes on Michigan this upcoming week

WR Nigel Lanier – Grambling State

Lanier did not catch a pass in the Tigers’ 25-24 loss to Alcorn State.

DL Amari McNeill – Colorado

Logged two tackles, one sack, one TFL in Colorado’s narrow 27-24 win over Arizona State on the road.

WR Walker Merrill  – Wake Forest

Was not targeted in Wake Forest’s 17-12 loss to Clemson.

DB Cameron Miller – Memphis

BYE WEEK

LB Juwan Mitchell – Colorado

Did not log a stat as he saw his snap share decrease considerably this week in the Buffaloes’ win over the Sun Devils. There have been no reports as to a reason why.

DL Jordan Phillips – Maryland

Recorded one tackle in the Terrapins’ loss to Ohio State.

DL Da’Jon Terry – Oklahoma

Had a big day in Oklahoma’s thrilling win over Texas in the Red River Rivalry. The former Vol recorded four total tackles, one sack and one TFL despite getting banged up during the contest.

RB Justin Williams-Thomas – Cal

Did not play in Cal’s 52-40 loss to Oregon State as he continues to deal with an injury. JWT hasn’t played all season due to the injury but recently posted on an Instagram story that he’s on track to come back soon.

RB Len’Neth Whitehead – Georgia

Did not see time in Georgia’s 51-13 win over Kentucky. Whitehead is yet to be utilized at all this season for the Dawgs.
