College Football is heading into Week 7’s Saturday, Oct. 14 matchups, and the stakes in the SEC are getting higher each week. Already we’re starting to see some promising teams fraying at the edges, while others are climbing unexpectedly up the ranks. This week we’re taking another look at the SEC football odds for Week 7 and breaking down three of the most anticipated matchups.
Perhaps the top SEC game to keep an eye on is Texas A&M and Tennessee — two franchises facing very different challenges and opportunities. Next, we’ve got Auburn vs. LSU, a classic SEC rivalry. And finally, a top-25 matchup between Missouri and Kentucky.

As always, the SEC is giving us plot twists, heartbreaks, and exciting rivalries to watch and bet on this year. We’re deep-diving into three of Week 7’s best matchups. But first, here’s the full SEC College Football Schedule for Saturday, October 14:

Texas A&M vs. Tennessee
This game is easily the top SEC matchup for Week 7. No. 19 Tennessee is hosting Texas A&M this week, with the game broadcasting on CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the 4-1 Tennessee Vols as a 3-point favorite, which is a promising spread for a competitive game.
The pressure is on for Texas A&M, who have faced major setbacks with the loss of their starting QB Connor Weigman. Coach Jimbo Fisher is on the hot seat and will be gunning to keep another loss off his rap sheet. A&M has beat Tennessee the last two times they played, but that was way back in 2016 and 2020.
But this is a new Tennessee Vols team. They’ve won 12 straight games at home and are coming into this matchup fresh off a bye. The question is whether QB Joe Milton can handle the pressure from the A&M D-line, considering he’s completing just 29% of his passes this season.
We’re going with the Vols to win this one at home, but with so much up in the air, you might want to be the Aggies to cover the spread.
Auburn vs. LSU
This week the No. 22 LSU Tigers will host Auburn in Baton Rouge, with the game kicking off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Oddsmakers aren’t expecting this game to be quite as competitive as the TAMU vs. Tennessee matchup. On BetMGM Sportsbook, LSU is the 11.5-point favorite to win over Auburn.
Auburn is an interesting team after it put up a serious fight in their first half against Georgia a few weeks ago. The Auburn Tigers are 3-2, but they looked like a much stronger team until the fourth quarter and lost by seven points.
LSU, on the other hand, has been underperforming this year with a 4-2 record and a disappointing Week 5 loss to Ole Miss. The LSU Tigers’ defense can’t seem to do…really anything. The Ole Miss game racked up a total of 104 points as both offenses just steamrolled both defenses.
But LSU QB Jayden Daniels is one of the best in the country and we agree with oddsmakers he’ll do just what Georgia did against Auburn and turn the game into a win.
That said, we’re betting Auburn against the spread. They showed they could hold a dominant team like Georgia down for at least a few quarters and keep the score closer.
Missouri vs. Kentucky
No. 25 Mizzou will travel to No. 24 Kentucky for an SEC matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
As you might expect from the teams’ adjacent rankings, it’s expected to be a close game. Caesars Sportsbook puts the point spread at just 2.5, with the Kentucky Wildcats given the edge.
Both teams started 5-0 and had their first loss in Week 6 against similarly dominant SEC teams. Kentucky lost 51-13 to Georgia. Yikes. And Missouri lost 49-39 to LSU. Missouri has a stellar offense that should help them rack up some points, but ultimately we think Kentucky’s home-field advantage could put it over the edge. Our pick for the best bet here is the Over at 50.5 points on DraftKings.
