See Tennessee-Texas A&M Game Line As Kickoff Approaches

Tennessee football is less than 24 hours away from kicking off its critical cross-divisional SEC matchup against Texas A&M at Neyland Stadium.

The Vols are currently three-point favorites over the Aggies according to Caesars Sportsbook. The over/under is currently set at 54.5.

The betting line opened anywhere between 3.5 to 6-points Sunday before moving to Tennessee -3 by the middle of the week and staying there until Friday afternoon.

Tennessee enters the week five matchup 3-2 against the spread this season. The Vols are 1-1 against the spread in SEC games, failing to cover as favorites against Florida but doing so at home against South Carolina. The over has hit in two Tennessee game this season, the under has hit twice and it pushed once.

Texas A&M is 4-2 against the spread this season and 2-1 against the spread in conference games after failing to cover against Alabama Saturday. The over has hit in four Texas A&M games this season with the under hitting in two of the games.

Josh Heupel’s third Tennessee team is looking to cap off its three-game home stand with its third straight win. A win keeps the Vols in the SEC East race and gets them to 5-1 (2-1 SEC) before next week’s rivalry matchup at Alabama. Tennessee has won 12 straight games at Neyland Stadium and is looking to keep the home success rolling against the Aggies.

Texas A&M is coming to Knoxville after three straight SEC games. The Aggies defeated Auburn and Arkansas before falling to Alabama last week in College Station. Jimbo Fisher’s team enters the matchup 4-2 (2-1 SEC) and is desperate for a win ahead of its open date.

The Aggies have lost seven-straight true road games and haven’t beaten a ranked opponent on the road since 2014.

Kickoff between Tennessee and Texas A&M at Neyland Stadium is at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jenny Dell are on the call for CBS.
