Georgia Running Back Commits To Tennessee Football

Class of 2025 running back Justin Baker committed to Tennessee football on Wednesday night over a top group which includes Georgia, South Carolina, Penn State and Michigan.

Baker ranks as a high three-star recruit and the No. 372 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Buford native ranks as the 35th best running back and the 42nd best player in the state of Georgia in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

At Buford High School, Baker plays with a number of elite prospects including five-star Georgia quarterback commit Dylan Raiola and five-star Florida State safety commit KJ Bolden.

The 5-foot-9, 205-pound running back also stars on the Buford track team in addition to the football team.

Baker was active taking visits before committing to Tennessee football on Wednesday night. Baker took three visits to Tennessee earlier this year including for the Vols’ wins over South Carolina and Austin Peay.

The three-star recruit also took three visits to South Carolina, two visits to Georgia and Penn State and one trip to Michigan earlier this year.

Baker becomes the third commit in Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class joining three-star Milton High School cornerbacks Shemar Arnoux and Dylan Lewis. All three of Tennessee’s commits in the 2025 recruiting cycle are three-stars from the greater Atlanta area.

Tennessee football’s three-commit 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 15 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
