No. 13 Tennessee had no answers for No. 14 Missouri’s run game on Saturday evening in Columbia as the Vols fell to the Tigers by a score of 36-7.

Missouri was able to dictate the flow of the game behind over 200 all-purpose yards from running back Cody Schrader and 275 passing yards from quarterback Brady Cook, leading to a time of possession that was nearly double what Tennessee ended with.

The Vols needed a big win on Saturday to compete for the SEC East crown but fell short.

Following the conclusion of the game, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media in Columbia to give his reaction to the loss. Heupel spoke about Tennessee’s inability to stop the run, the penalties that the Vols picked up during the game, punter Jackson Ross, Missouri’s offense, and more.

  1. Josh should blame himself to for having to much faith in Joe no throw Milton because Nico is faster and has better arm accuracy

  2. Need to put Joe Milton on the bench and put a freshman in maybe he can get some offense going Joe Milton just can’t get it done that’s why he won the quarterback at Michigan
