On this week’s episode of RTI: Pancakes and Bacon, VFL Kyler Kerbyson and Reed Bacon are reacting to Saban’s reign coming to an end and are looking back on the Vols’ 2023 season.
With Alabama hiring Kalen DeBoer, the guys have on Knoxville native (Knox Catholic) Tyler Williamson, who played for DeBoer at Southern Illinois. Williamson talks about DeBoer’s coaching style, strengths, and the type of impact that the former Washington head coach could have at Alabama. DeBoer was the offensive coordinator and wide receiver’s coach at SIU from 2010 to 2013.
The guys then jump back into the 2023 season and talk about all the ups and downs that Tennessee faced through the 12-game schedule. Kyler and Reed then give out some awards to the best performers and moments of the year.
