Four-star EDGE rusher Mariyon Dye announced four of the schools he will be officially visiting and the dates for the trips on Monday with Tennessee football making the cut. The blue-chip prospect will officially visit Tennessee football on June 20-23— the last of four scheduled official visits.

Dye also has official visits scheduled to Miami, Georgia and Ohio State leading up to his trip to Tennessee according to On3’s Chad Simmons.

An Indiana native, Dye ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 314 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect also ranks as the 24th best EDGE rusher and the No. 5 player in the state of Indiana in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

While Dye ranks as a low four-star according to the 247sports composite rankings, a number of ranking sits are much higher on him, most notably On3 sports which ranks him as the No. 47 player in his class.

Dye is the second highly touted Indiana prep pass rusher that’s scheduled an official visit to Tennessee. Indianapolis native Damien Shanklin ranks as the top player in Indiana and is visiting the Vols earlier in June.

Dye is still in the relatively early stages of his recruitment and has taken just four visits to date. The blue-chip recruit visited Tennessee football for the Vols’ November matchup against Georgia at Neyland Stadium. Dye has also visited Michigan, Ohio State and Georgia with his trips to Columbus and Athens being his only visits in 2024.

The Elkhart, Indiana native hasn’t visited Miami yet though he could take a visit there and a myriad of more places this spring before taking his early summer official visits.

Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class contains six commitments to date but none of them are from defensive linemen. The Vols’ six-commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 10 nationally and fifth in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
