Creighton is back in the Sweet 16 for the third time in four years and just a season after making a run to the Elite Eight before falling against San Diego State. The No. 3-seed Blue Jays knocked off 14-seed Akron in the first round of the NCAA Tournament before outlasting 11-seed Oregon 86-73 in double overtime in the Round of 32.

The Blue Jays have a three-headed monster on the offensive end with Trey Alexander, Baylor Scheierman and Ryan Kalkbrenner all averaging over 17 points per game. Creighton is extremely efficient on the offensive end and shoots more threes than almost any team in the country.

Tennessee had success against an Alabama team that shoots an abundance of three-pointers earlier in the season knocking off the Crimson Tide in both Knoxville and Tuscaloosa.

The Vols will face Creighton on Friday night in Detroit in the Midwest Region Semifinals. The tipoff time and broadcast details will be released later on Sunday night.
