Kyle Larson is attempting a grueling Sunday doubleheader, racing in the Indianapolis 500 earlier Sunday afternoon and then jetting to North Carolina to compete in the Coca-Cola 600.
Kurt Busch was the last to attempt the Indy-Charlotte Double a decade ago in 2014, but after a sixth-place Indianapolis 500 finish, Busch’s engine blew two-thirds of the way through the Coca-Cola 600, ending his long day.
Oddsmakers aren’t deterred, though, and BetMGM as of midday Thursday had Larson — the 2021 Coca-Cola 600 champ — lined as Sunday’s favorite at +475.
