Tennessee football hit the practice field on Thursday morning in Knoxville for their seventh practice of the fall camp slate. And unlike usual, the media had the chance to go outside and watch the Vols on the outdoor practice fields for a good 10 minutes or so.

The Vols began the day with routine warm-ups and conditioning on the indoor field before moving outside to split up into specific position-focused drills. On the defensive side of the ball, Tennessee’s secondary worked out redzone/endzone defending while the linebackers were practicing zone coverage on the other end of the field.

Tennessee won’t practice on Friday and will instead have a closed scrimmage that night. While the scrimmage won’t be open to the fans or the media, stay tuned to RTI for a post-scrimmage press conference from head coach Josh Heupel.
