The defending National Champion Tennessee baseball team released its 2025 schedule on Thursday afternoon with its season just over two months away.
Tennessee has three home non-conference series against Hofstra, Samford and St. Bonaventure as well as three games in Houston at the Astros Foundation College Classic. The Vols will face two power five opponents at that event.
In SEC play, Tennessee faces eight teams that made the NCAA Tournament a season ago as well as three teams that made the College World Series. Tennessee also hosts Texas A&M, who it defeated in the College World Series Finals, in a home series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
It’s the first season of the expanded SEC which means there’s no longer divisions. While Tennessee doesn’t play either Texas or Oklahoma this season, its schedule does have a different feel because they don’t play former SEC East opponents Georgia or Missouri.
Tennessee expects to add a midweek game on April 8 but has yet to finalize a contract with the small opponent they plan on facing.
