Arizona offensive line transfer Wendell Moe Jr. visited Tennessee football over the weekend as he analyzes his options in the transfer portal.
A redshirt sophomore offensive guard, Moe started for Arizona each of the last two years where he combined to play 1,624 snaps while starting 25 total games. The 6-foot-2, 239-pound lineman started exclusively at left guard in 2023 while splitting time at left and right guard in 2024 due to injuries on the Wildcats’ offensive line.
Moe earned a 67.4 PFF grade this last season including a stout 88.3 pass block grade and a more average 60.1 run block grade. He was even better in 2023, posting a 68.5 PFF grade on his way to earning Second Team All-Pac 12 honors.
For reference, Moe’s 67.4 grade this past season would have ranked third on Tennessee’s offensive line just slightly behind Andrej Karic and Cooper Mays.
Moe visited Auburn football slightly before his trip to Tennessee. It’s unclear whether he’ll take any more visits but it’s possible that he’ll visit Washington. Former Arizona coach Jeff Fisch is now the coach at Washington.

Like Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava, Moe is from Long Beach, California though the two played at different high schools. Moe is Polynesian and Tennessee has two returning Polynesian players in Iamaleava an defensive tackle Jaxson Moi.
Tennessee is in need of offensive linemen in the transfer portal and particularly on the interior of the line where they definitively lose Mays and right guard Javontez Spraggins. Karic is out of eligibility but did not go through Senior Day and is currently applying for one more year of eligibility due to injuries he suffered throughout the 2023 season.
The Vols will look to add multiple offensive linemen in the transfer portal this offseason since they lose four of their five starting offensive linemen to graduation. Former LSU offensive tackle transfer Lance Heard vis back and Tennessee adds five-star offensive tackle David Sanders who could start as a true freshman.
Tennessee has yet to add a player in the transfer portal to date while they’ve lost eight different scholarship players including two contributors on its 2024 team. Stay up to date with all Tennessee football transfer news with the RTI transfer tracker here.
