Tennessee baseball was back at Lindsey Nelson Stadium for game two of its “pizza series” on Saturday afternoon. The pizza series is a three-game instrasquad scrimmage that Tennessee holds the weekend before opening day every year.
RTI was not in attendance for game two on Saturday afternoon due to the Tennessee basketball game at Oklahoma but friend of the program Ben McKee of GoVols247 was kind enough to send over the play-by-play and stats.
It was a thriller over at Lindsey Nelson Stadium with the grey team overcoming a four-run ninth inning deficit to win on a Levi Clark walk-off homer. Game three of the “pizza series” is set for 12:45 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon barring inclement weather. RTI will be in attendance
