Tennessee is set to host the 2025 Orange & White spring football game on Saturday, April 12, in Neyland Stadium.

The game is the culmination of the Vols’ spring training camp that has been ongoing since early March. Saturday’s game will be the 15th and final event on the spring slate.

“Similar to previous Orange & White Games in the Josh Heupel era, offense will wear white jerseys and be on the home sideline,” Tennessee stated in a press release. “Defense will wear orange jerseys and be on the visiting sideline. Quarterbacks will wear Smokey Grey jersey tops. Normal game scoring will apply with offense (while wearing white jerseys) alternating possessions for Orange and White. There will be a 10-minute halftime, and award recipients from the 2024 team will be recognized.”

The Orange & White game will not be broadcast online or on television, but the radio broadcast can be heard across Vol Network affiliates and online. Tennessee’s new broadcasting team, featuring Voice of the Vols Mike Keith, VFL Ramon Foster, VFL Jayson Swain, and Brent Hubbs, will debut for the first time with a number of special guests planned for the show.

Tickets are available for the game, though. General admission digital tickets are listed online for less than $15 plus taxes and fees. Tickets are limited due to the ongoing construction outside and inside of Neyland Stadium, but there is a large chunk of the northern side of the stadium (roughly 45,00 seats) that is open for fans.

There’s plenty of excitement around the Orange & White game this spring with both new and returning faces to the program. Fans won’t see historic running back Dylan Sampson as he prepares for the NFL Draft, but it will be the official debut for transfer running back Star Thomas from Duke. Thomas is a skilled, experienced back who brings good leadership to a room that also features returners DeSean Bishop and Peyton Lewis.

There’s also significant intrigue around the Vols’ offensive line after losing four of five starters this offseason. Two of the starter spots are projected to go to a pair of transfer players in Wendell Moe Jr. and Sam Pendleton, but many are excited to see true freshman offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. in the former five-star’s spring debut.

This spring isn’t completely void of drama, though. A report on Thursday from On3’s Pete Nakos stated that Tennessee was in contract negotiations with quarterback Nico Iamaleava, suggesting that the Vols’ quarterback was looking to get back to the higher end of the market this spring. Later that night, Iamaleava’s father, Nic Iamaleava, strongly refuted Nakos’s report.

“More games being played off the field than on the field,” Nic Iamaleava began a strong post on X with.

There’s still a bit more football to be played on the field this weekend, though. Stay tuned to Rocky Top Insider online and on X for live updates and coverage of the 2025 Tennessee Football Orange & White game on Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
