Just one day after finding out the time and TV broadcast for Tennessee football’s season opener against Syracuse, we now have some more scheduling notes courtesy of an announcement from Tennessee Athletics.
Tennessee revealed the games that will serve as Homecoming, Champions Weekend, Senior Day, and Checker Neyland during the 2025 slate.
The Vols will host their Checker Neyland game against Georgia in the third week of the season on Saturday, Sept. 13. That game will be the Vols’ second from Neyland Stadium after the home opener the week before on Sept. 6 against East Tennessee State. The Georgia contest will also serve as John Henderson’s Hall of Fame salute.
Tennessee will then hold Champions Weekend during the Arkansas game in Knoxville on Saturday, Oct. 11.
Homecoming and Salute to Service will take place on Nov. 15 when the Vols take on New Mexico State in the third-to-last game of the regular season.
Tennessee will then close things down with Senior Day against Vanderbilt on Nov. 29 in Neyland Stadium.
