Schedule Change: Tennessee-Alabama Bumped Back After Weather Delay in Hoover

There has been a scheduling change to Tennessee’s second-round SEC Tournament game against Alabama on Wednesday.

Due to severe weather in the Hoover area on Tuesday night, the Texas A&M-Mississippi State first-round game was delayed to 10:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday morning.

Tennessee-Alabama was originally supposed to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, but has been pushed back to approximately 2:00 p.m. ET following the delay on Tuesday night.

Tennessee and Alabama will compete in the first game of the second round on Wednesday. The Volunteers earned a single bye as the 8-seed and will take on 9-seed Alabama after the Crimson Tide eliminated 16-seed Missouri on Tuesday morning.

The winner of Tennessee-Alabama will take on 1-seed Texas on Thursday afternoon, weather permitting.
