Tennessee baseball suffered a 7-6 loss to Wake Forest in game six of the Knoxville Regional Saturday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Despite an above average extended relief performance from Brandon Arvidson and a pair of two-run homers, the Vols fell just short as Wake Forest worked a walk-off walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it.
The Demon Deacons’ win forces a deciding game seven of the regional with a trip to the Supers on the line.
