
Tennessee football’s top commit in its 2026 recruiting class Faizon Brandon was in Knoxville over the weekend, taking his official visit while the Vols hosted a number of top recruiting targets including five-star receiver Tristen Keys.
After his weekend in Knoxville, Brandon made his way to Los Angeles for the Elite 11 running from Tuesday to Thursday. The premier high school quarterback camp sees 18 of the top prep quarterbacks in the country try to be the Elite 11 prep quarterbacks while one will win camp MVP.
Brandon is one of four SEC commits taking part in the event along with Texas commit Dia Bell, Florida commit Will Griffin and Texas A&M commit Helaman Casuga. Four of the 18 quarterbacks at the camp have yet to commit to a school.

Maybe no quarterback at the Elite 11 will have a bigger target on their back then Brandon. The Vol commit ranks as a five-star and the No. 6 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Greensboro native also ranks as the No. 2 quarterback and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.
Georgia commit, and Nashville native, Jared Curtis ranks as the No. 1 quarterback according in the country according to the composite rankings but is not competing in this week’s Elite 11.
247sports own rankings are even higher on Brandon, ranking him not only as the No. 1 quarterback but the No. 1 player in the country.
Brandon committed to Tennessee last August over Alabama, LSU and North Carolina State. The five-star quarterback was the Vols’ first commit in their 2026 recruiting class and remains their highest rated commit. Tennessee also has a commitment from low five-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda.
