A trio of Tennessee baseball pitchers entered the transfer portal on Wednesday afternoon. Junior reliever Andrew Behnke, junior relief Austin Breedlove and freshman Beau Revord are officially in the portal as the Vols’ turnover on the mound continues.

Behnke spent three seasons at Tennessee, posting a 5-1 record and 3.52 ERA in 46 innings pitched in his career. The left-handed pitcher was a fringe bullpen arm during the Vols’ run to the 2024 national championship.

The Nashville native posted a 3-1 record and 3.54 ERA in 28 innings pitched. Behnke pitched four times in the NCAA Tournament and twice in the College World Series, combining to record six outs while allowing two earned runs. The expectation was for Behnke to step into a bigger role in his junior season but it didn’t come to fruition.

Behnke posted a 5.11 ERA in 12.1 innings pitched during the 2025 season. He recorded just six outs during SEC play in his junior season, electing to go elsewhere for his final college season.

Breedlove spent just one season in Knoxville after transferring in from Cleveland State Community College. The right-handed pitcher posted a 3-0 record and 3.42 ERA in 23.2 innings pitched. Breedlove totaled four innings in SEC play where he allowed six earned runs.

Revord didn’t pitch in his freshman season at Tennessee, redshirting before entering the portal at the end of the season.

Twelve Tennessee players have entered the portal to this point with Behnke, Breedlove and Revord joining LHP Dylan Loy, RHP Bryson Thacker, infielder Robinson Martin, RHP Austin Hunley, OF Colby Backus, LHP Brayden Sharp, RHP Thomas Crabtree, RHP Ryler Smart and 1B Jack Jones. Loy is the only outgoing transfer who had a sizable role for the Vols in 2025.

The Vols have landed five players in the transfer portal to this point in Big South Pitcher of the Year Clay Edmondson, SoCon Pitcher of the Year Brady Frederick, Kennesaw State’s RHP Bo Rhudy and MIT’s RHP Mason Estrada and Bowling Green utility man Garrett Wright.

Tennessee has hosted a small handful of other visitors in the portal including Rutgers RHP Landon Mack, Cal infielder Jarren Advincula and Seton Hall outfielder Aiden Robbins.
