From the West Coast folks watching the late-night game live to the East Coast folks seeing the news for the first time on Wednesday morning, social media had a field day with Christian Moore’s unforgettable game on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
To sum things up, Moore had himself a day. The former Tennessee champion hit a game-tying solo home run in the eighth inning and a walk-off two-run homer in the 10th inning to give the Angels the 3-2 victory over the Boston Red Sox. Moore drove in all three of the Angels’ runs on Tuesday as he starts to find his swagger in Major League Baseball.
What’s even better? His first career multi-homer game in MLB came exactly one year after he led off Game 3 of the Men’s College World Series with a home run for Tennessee in 2024. There’s something about June 24th that has Moore playing possessed.
Here’s a look at some of the best social media reactions from around the web on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning as Los Angeles fans and Tennessee fans reacted to the news. For more details on Moore’s massive game, check out the link below:

Christian Moore has as many HR (3) as top prospects Jac Caglianone, Roman Anthony and Cole Young combined.
Consider also that all three were called up 2-3 weeks before the #Angels top prospect and first round pick out of Tennessee last year. pic.twitter.com/6MFiD9iRWS

Christian Moore is another example for why we are the Box Office Vols. The Angels drafted a Tennessee player and now they’re the most exciting and explosive team in major league baseball

Yesterday the Angels became the first team since 1991 to use eight of their own first-round picks in the same game.
Today their latest first-round pick, Christian Moore, hit the game-tying HR in the 8th and the walk-off HR in the 10th.
The Angels have won 27 of their last 50.

Christian Moore: 3
Boston Red Sox: 2#LTBU— Jared Tims (@Jared_Tims) June 25, 2025
FINAL: Christian Moore is the hero.
He ties the game in the 8th with a homer. Then walks off the Red Sox with a walkoff two-run shot. 3-2, Angels.
The Angels continue to play very good baseball. Though, there’s some concern with Zach Neto.
The Angels are 39-40.

After hitting his first homer of the year with the Trash Pandas in April, Christian Moore told me this in an exclusive interview: “That’s something that Tennessee breeds — winners.”
Safe to say he’s made everyone in the bigs aware of that in the last two weeks. https://t.co/ifHcfpBlmc
