Four-star point guard Miles Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee basketball from Aug. 29-31, On3’s Joe Tipton first reported and Sadler confirmed to RTI this week.
Sadler is one of the top point guards in the 2026 recruiting cycle, ranking as a four-star recruit and the No. 31 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. An undersized 5-foot-10, 165-pound guard, Sadler ranks as the No. 4 point guard and the No. 5 player in the state of Arizona in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Tennessee joined Oklahoma, Iowa, Syracuse, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Cal and others in offering the blue-chip point guard a scholarship in early May. Stanford has also since offered Sadler. A Scottsdale native, Sadler attends Bella Vista Prep School.
The Vols have yet to land a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle but that is not overly surprising due to the early nature of the cycle. Tennessee’s recruiting board is beginning to take shape this summer as Rick Barnes and his staff continue to assess players during summer open periods.

Four prospects in the 2026 recruiting cycle have either officially or unofficially visited Tennessee so far this summer. Four-star power forward Trey Thompson officially visited Tennessee earlier this month and four-star wing Gage Mayfield officially visited earlier this week.
Four-star Utah shooting guard Junior County unofficially visited earlier this month as did three-star point guard Sam “Deuce” Simmons Jr. Sadler is the only other visit Tennessee has scheduled for later this summer but look for the Vols to add more over the next two months.
Tennessee will sign a small high school recruiting class after adding five prep prospects in the 2025 cycle. The 2025 Tennessee basketball team also has just three seniors on its roster though more roster spots will almost certainly be open with Nate Ament projecting as a one-and-done prospect and the emergence of the transfer portal.
