If you’re a student attending Tennessee basketball’s game vs. Oklahoma on Wednesday night, you may want to get to Food City Center early. The program announced that it will be giving away replica warm-up pants to the first 500 students to arrive for the game.
The pants feature the iconic orange and white candy-stripe design. Rick Barnes reintroduced this look in 2016, throwing things back to the 1960s.
“Actually, we wanted to do this a year ago, but it was too late in the making to get it done,” Barnes said at the time. “I love tradition, I’m a big fan of tradition and, obviously, I remember those days – the Ernie and Bernie days – and those times. I just think it’s great to pay tribute to your past. Hopefully, we can bring back some of those days. Those were great days for the people here and the Volunteer fanbase and I hope we can get it back to where we play at that level.”

More From RTI: Tennessee Starting Forward ‘Doubtful’ For Matchup Against Oklahoma
The game against Oklahoma on Wednesday night is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. If you can’t make it to the game in person, it’ll air on ESPN2.
The Vols currently own an 18-7 (8-4 SEC) record on the year, but sit just outside the AP Poll’s top-25. Tennessee has also won seven of its last nine games, but the two losses have stung. Both have come to UT’s biggest men’s basketball rival, Kentucky, after taking commanding leads early in the game.
After the Sooners, Tennessee will have a massive matchup on Saturday, though. The Vols travel to play in-state rival Vanderbilt at 2 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
