On this episode of RTI: Diamond Pass, hosts Jack Foster and Ryan Schumpert are back to discuss Tennessee baseball’s series loss to Kent State from all angles.
Starting with the pitching, 10 hit-by-pitches was an uncharacteristic and worrisome development. But was the lack of command on the weekend a one-off? Brandon Arvidson looked good in his debut, Brady Frederick bounced back and Landon Mack put together another quality start, but the rest of the staff left something to be desired. As did the offense for the vast majority of the weekend.
The guys get into the biggest worries regarding the Tennessee offense right now and what changes could be made moving forward. Finally, a word on the defense and a big weekend coming up for the Vols in Arlington.
