With a two-game losing streak and just two games left in the regular season, the Tennessee Volunteers will try to get back on track with a road game against South Carolina on Tuesday night in Columbia, SC. The Gamecocks are just 12-17 on the season and 3-13 in SEC play, losing four of their last five SEC games to Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama. If there’s a time for Tennessee to get back in the win column, this game certainly presents an optimal opportunity.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s game, Tennessee associate head coach Justin Gainey and forward JP Estrella met with the media on Monday in Knoxville. Both talked about what all went into the Vols’ blown-lead loss to Alabama, what they’ll need to focus on before the South Carolina game, and much more.
South Carolina will host Tennessee at 6:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. The Vols will then close out the regular season by hosting Vanderbilt next Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. ET in the Food City Center.
