Lane Kiffin is posting about Tennessee football, again. The 50-year-old LSU head coach took to his X account on Monday night to post a video tagging the Vols’ official account from the Tigers’ facility. In the video, a rendition of Rocky Top is being played over the speakers as he pans to former UT quarterback and current LSU staffer Tee Martin.
In the video, Kiffin jokes to Martin to ‘quit sitting around’ and to ‘get to work’ because the team plays in Knoxville this season. The game is scheduled for November 21, with a kickoff time and TV designation yet to be determined.
This will be the second time Kiffin has returned to Neyland Stadium since leaving the program. He came back with Ole Miss in 2021 to a flurry of boos (and later, trash was thrown, and golf balls were hurled at him) against Josh Heupel’s first Tennessee team. The Rebels pulled out a narrow win amid officiating controversy.

Martin joins the LSU staff as an offensive analyst. This is Martin’s second stint coaching alongside Kiffin. He was also hired by him at USC in 2012 as the Trojans’ wide receivers coach.
Martin played at Tennessee from 1996-99. After sitting behind Peyton Manning, he took over in 1998 and led the program to a BCS National Championship win over Florida State. After his college career, he went in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft to the Steelers. He hung up his cleats after the 2005 season to begin his coaching career.
Since 2021, Martin has been on the Ravens’ staff in the NFL as a wide receiver coach, then a quarterback coach. This is Kiffin’s first year at LSU after taking the job following a successful stint at Ole Miss. Kiffin also coached at Tennessee for one season, 2009, before leaving in the night for USC.

Lane Kiffin is such an a**hole jerk!
Kiffin is already hated by Tennessee and Mississippi. Before long he will add Louisiana to the mix.
