Tennessee football has set up an official visit with one of the top in-state recruits in the 2027 class. From the west side of the state, four-star edge rusher Antwan Jackson will be in town from June 19-21 for his official.
Jackson is from Collierville, just east of Memphis. Standing at 6-foot-5, he is considered the No. 376 recruit in the country via 247 Composite. He is also the No. 31 edge rusher and No. 15 player from the state.
UT is one of four official visits Jackson has announced. He will also take a look at Alabama on May 28, Ole Miss on June 5 and Missouri on June 12.
This won’t be the first time Jackson has made the trip across the state to see Josh Heupel and the Vols. He also got to town earlier this month for a visit on April 10. He picked up his UT offer back in November of 2025, as well.

More From RTI: Former Tennessee Football Running Back Hired as In-State High School’s Head Coach
As an edge rusher, Jackson’s primary recruiter is new LEOs coach Andrew Jackson. He joined the staff with Jim Knowles after he was hired as the defensive coordinator to replace Tim Banks.
Currently, Tennessee holds six commitments in the 2027 class. This features a trio of highly-touted four-stars. Headlining is in-state wide receiver, Kesean Bowman. He is a top-50 prospect and one of the top pass catchers in the class. In-state offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife are also highly ranked.
Three-stars in the class are quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler and in-state legacy linebacker JP Peace. Currently, this group is ranked inside the top-15 on both 247 and Rivals for the young 2027 cycle. More commitments are expected to roll in, as well.
