TRANSFER TRACKER: Where Lady Vols Basketball’s Roster Sits With 11 Players Committed

Lady Vols basketball is inching closer and closer to having a full roster for the 2026-27 season. After losing every player from last season’s roster and an incoming high school signee, Tennessee was left with just incoming freshman Gabby Minus heading into the transfer portal madness.

Now, the Lady Vols have 11 players committed to play. This features nine transfer portal commitments and two class of 2026 signees. The cap for a roster is 15 players, meaning there are still four open spots Tennessee can use. The expectation is for additional commitments to continue to roll in.

“We really wanted to make sure that from the jump of the portal, we were getting those floor spacers out there,” Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell said. “Your bigs and your point guards are harder to come by, and so we have been really trying to get key pieces there that fit that with what we the way we want to play. You got to be willing to play fast, you got to be willing to play hard. You got to be willing to come in and work and want to win for Tennessee. And those are conversations we’ve had openly and pretty upfront with every player we’ve brought in.”
