The buzz surrounding Tennessee basketball and top-ranked transfer Juke Harris is continuing to pick up momentum. After Rick Barnes and members of the Vols’ coaching staff flew to California to visit with Harris, On3 insider Pete Nakos has dropped an expert prediction for Tennessee to close the deal and land the Wake Forest transfer guard with a confidence level of 60%.
Harris ranks as not just the top-available transfer in the portal, but the No. 1 transfer in the entire cycle on On3. He is considered a five-star transfer with North Carolina and Michigan as the other top schools in pursuit of his commitment. An entry into the NBA draft is also still in play, though most believe he’s likely to return to college.
Harris is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 21.4 points on 44.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% shooting from three-point range. He made 87 three-pointers during the year, as well.
The Salisbury, North Carolina native earned ACC Most Improved Player and Second Team All-ACC for the standout season.

More From RTI: Tennessee AD Danny White Supporting Rick Barnes’ Pursuit of a National Championship
Nakos isn’t the first insider to project Tennessee to land Harris, either. Earlier this week, RTI Low-Down co-host and On3 insider Chris Low also predicted Harris to join the Vols.
“You never say never, but all my intel says this week that Juke Harris will pull the trigger and come to Tennessee,” Low said. “I know his mom is a big fan of the program, a big fan of Rick Barnes. Tennessee was right there in it out of high school.”
UT has landed six portal commitments so far. This features Belmont guard Tyler Lundblade, Cal guard Dai Dai Ames, Loyola (Chicago) forward Miles Rubin, Notre Dame forward Jalen Haralson, VCU guard Terrence Hill Jr. and Kennesaw State forward Braden Lue.
