Levi Clark opened the scoring in Tennessee baseball’s 11-1 run-rule midweek win against Belmont when he launched a 412-foot, two-run homer to left-center field.

The home run was the 100th long ball this season, helping the Volunteer program become the first ever SEC program to hit 100-plus homers in five straight seasons. Tennessee finished the night with six home runs to hit the 105 mark this season.

Tennessee hit 158 home runs during the 2022 season, 126 home runs during the 2023 season, 184 home runs in the 2024 season and 131 home runs in the 2025 season. The four seasons are the four highest marks in program history with Tennessee’s 107 long balls in 1998 occupying the fifth spot.

At the time of publication, five different Tennessee hitters have hit double-digit home runs this season. Henry Ford (16) leads the way followed by Blaine Brown (13), Blake Grimmer (12), Clark (11) and Reese Chapman (10).

Tennessee’s offense started the season slow before finding its footing over the last six weeks thanks in large part to the emergence of Grindlinger and the consistency of Grimmer and Chapman. Ford and Brown also have the ability to change any given series with their power hitting.

The Vols’ power surge has been impressive late this season but pales in comparison to the 2024 season when Tennessee hit a program best 184 home runs on the way to the first national championship in program history.

Tennessee became the first-ever SEC program with five players to hit 20-plus homers with Christian Moore (34), Dylan Dreiling (23), Billy Amick (23), Blake Burke (20) and Kavares Tears (20) leading the way. Hunter Ensley (12), Dean Curley (12) and Cal Stark (11) each hit double-digit homers as well.
