This summer, the new College Football video game from EA Sports is set to be revealed. Titled College Football 27, the new game is set to tweak elements of gameplay while featuring real players and coaches across the FBS. This will be the third edition of the game since its return after a hiatus.
Ahead of the full game reveal scheduled for this Thursday and worldwide launch on July 8, EA Sports has revealed the cover for the standard edition of the game. Featured are Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney and Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy.

“College Football 27 promises to be an incredible year, one in which we’re able to start reflecting the modern era of college football more authentically and with more depth for our players than ever before,” Evan Dexter, VP of Franchise Strategy and Marketing said. “Our cover athletes – Kewan Lacy, Malachi Toney, and Dante Moore – represent that modern era by transcending programs and drawing in generations of college football fans, regardless of their school pride. We built the game for those fans and we can’t wait for them to see the full reveal of College Football 27 on June 4.”
EA Sports also announced the deluxe edition cover athletes and coach. That will feature Texas defensive lineman Colin Simmons, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava and Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti.
Through the three editions of the game, Tennessee football has yet to have a cover athlete. However, different aspects of the Vols have been featured, such as a helmet on the cover. UT is also usually prominently featured in the trailers for the game, which will be released this week.
