As Tennessee football put together its impressive 2026 recruiting class, it appeared that a three-star interior offensive lineman, Brandon Anderson, would be a part of it. However, after committing to the Vols on Oct. 20, 2024, he decommitted on January 27, 2025, while keeping UT open as an option.

After taking his official visits, Anderson then committed to Missouri on June 29, 2025, and ultimately signed. It doesn’t appear that Anderson will be joining the Tigers after all, though. According to a report from PowerMizzou, Anderson is no longer a part of the Missouri program.

This comes after Anderson early enrolled this past winter and joined the team for spring practices. Now, most teams are reconvening for summer workouts.

Anderson was considered a three-star recruit by 247 Composite. He was listed as the No. 605 player in the class, No. 46 interior offensive lineman and No. 64 player out of Georgia. He is from Kennesaw, where he played for North Cobb High School.

Tennessee ultimately ended up signing the No. 4 class in the country for the cycle, via 247. This clocked in only behind No. 1 USC, No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Alabama. Headlining the class was a trio of five-stars. This features quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver TK Keys and offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda.

Offensive linemen committed and now signed include Osenda, four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair, three-star interior offensive lineman Ed Baker, three-star and local interior offensive lineman Jeremy George-El and unranked offensive tackle Thomas Storm.

Tennessee will boast experience on its offensive line this year, as well. From left tackle to right, the starting group projects to be David Sanders Jr., Wendell Moe Jr., Sam Pendleton, Jesse Perry and Ory Williams. Each is a returning starter from last year, except Williams, who joins from LSU out of the portal.
