Tennessee Football has three of the top five most-viewed live commitments in 247Sports history, according to 247 multimedia manager Aaron Grisham on X.
The live commitment gives fans of different teams the chance to watch the process unfold and see the decision that’s being made in real time. And judging by the list, there’s no doubt that Tennessee draws one of the biggest crowds.
Class of 2026 quarterback Faizon Brandon’s commitment ranks 3rd with 40,000 views, while class of 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. ranks 4th with 39,000 views. 2027 running back David Gabriel Georges, who committed to Tennessee over Ohio State on Wednesday, lands 5th on the list with 37,000 views.
All three players are/were five-star prospects who landed as the top-rated commit of that respective Tennessee class, but it’s also notable that Tennessee has been able to land all three players in back-to-back-to-back years. In fact, Tennessee has been able to land at least one Top 11 five-star prospect in five straight classes after DGG’s commitment earlier this week.
In 24 hours, David Gabriel Georges’ live commitment has become one of the most watched live commitments in @247Sports history 🏆

More From RTI: Where David Gabriel Georges Ranks Among the Josh Heupel Era Tennessee Commits
Tennessee beat out Alabama, LSU, and NC State for Brandon’s commitment back in August 2024. He instantly became a focal point for the Vols’ highly-rated 2026 recruiting class and will be a true freshman with the Vols this fall. Brandon is currently in a starting quarterback battle with redshirt freshman George MacIntyre and Colorado transfer Ryan Staub.
Brandon is the 12th highest-rated Tennessee commit of all time, according to 247Sports’ rankings.
Elite offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. committed to Tennessee over Ohio State, Georgia, and Nebraska in August 2024. Though he was one class before Brandon, his commitment actually came two weeks after Brandon’s. Sanders battled an injury in the early portion of his true freshman season last year, but worked his way into a starting role around the midway point of the year. He projects to be a key piece of the Vols’ offensive line this season.
247Sports ranks Sanders as the fourth highest-rated Tennessee Football commit of all time.
Lastly, and most recently, is David Gabriel Georges. The five-star running back announced his verbal pledge to Tennessee over Ohio State and Ole Miss on Wednesday evening, giving the Vols a dynamic and talented offensive player to bring to Knoxville for the 2027 season. With Gabriel Georges’ elite skill set, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him have an impact role with the team during his true freshman season next year.
Gabriel Georges is ranked as Tennessee’s 10th all-time best recruit on 247Sports.
