Tennessee football may still look familiar with the switch to adidas, but there will still be some changes. During the rollout of adidas uniforms at the beginning of the month, there were some concerns from fans about accessories with the move. In the photoshoots, the majority were with default black and white accessories and not matching orange.
Those concerns have been put to rest, though. As part of photo day for the UT football team, it featured a showcase of orange and white gloves, arm sleeves, and cleats.
Here’s a look at the accessories that you’ll see in Neyland Stadium this season:

The switch to adidas isn’t just a change in apparel. It also features financial compensation that will help Tennessee sustain its athletic programs and recruit at an elite level with partnerships with student-athletes.
“We appreciate adidas recognizing the power of the Tennessee brand and we are excited about the future of this transformative partnership,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “Both current and future Vols will benefit from this historic deal. adidas is providing us with world-class resources and apparel that will continue to push our brand to the forefront of college football for years to come. We can’t wait to showcase our adidas uniforms this fall.”
The first look at Tennessee in adidas uniforms will be on September 5, 2026, against Furman inside Neyland Stadium. The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network+/ESPN+. Then, it’s in front of the bright lights of ESPN on September 12 at Georgia Tech. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
The first SEC game is slated to be against Texas on September 26 at noon ET in front of a Checker Neyland crowd.
