Tennessee athlete commit Legend Bey had a special guest to practice with in a recent workout.
Bey posted a picture to X on Monday alongside former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III, who was sporting a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt. Milton was traded from the Patriots to the Cowboys earlier this spring before the draft.
Bey’s current town of Forney, TX, is just over 20 miles away from Dallas, TX, and about 45 miles away from Frisco, TX, where the Cowboys’ training facility is. It’s unclear where this photo was taken, but it’s not hard to imagine that it wasn’t too difficult for the past and future Vols to link up for a quick workout session. Bey had a few different stops before moving to Forney High School before his junior season, but all have been in the North Texas area, including stops at Frisco Reedy and Frisco Lone Star.
Both sides were repping their teams in the picture. Bey had Tennessee gloves, orange-and-white cleats, and some Power T slides. Milton, meanwhile, was rocking his Cowboys’ navy blue cleats and t-shirt.
“Got work in with a #GBO LEGEND!!!” Bey posted to X. “#Govols!!!”

More From RTI: Tennessee Football’s Elite Linebacker Recruiting Target Announces Commitment Plans
The 5-foot-10.5 prospect is ranked as a four-star athlete on On3 Sports and a three-star athlete on 247Sports. On3’s Industry Rankings have Bey as the No. 301 player in the class, the No. 13 athlete in the cycle, and the No. 37 player from the state of Texas. 247Sports has Bey listed as a quarterback and the No. 29 athlete in the class.
The multi-position athlete has the tools to play at a number of spots in the field, but his recruitment by Tennessee wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope suggests a future receiver role for the talented prospect. He was also wearing receiver gloves in the picture with Milton on Monday.
Bey announced his commitment to Tennessee on June 28 and was part of a massive eight-recruits-in-eight-days recruiting stretch for Josh Heupel’s Volunteers.
Here’s a look at the versatile talent that Legend Bey is bringing with him to Knoxville in the 2026 recruiting class:
