Four-star wing Jacob Webber plans on officially visiting from Sept. 11-14, Sam Kayser first reported and Webber confirmed to RTI Monday afternoon. The visit is the same weekend that the Tennessee football team hosts Georgia at Neyland Stadium.
Webber ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 90 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-6, 175-pound wing also ranks as the No. 37 small forward in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
The blue-chip recruit is a Kearney, Nebraska who spent his junior season at Kearney High School. But Webber is moving east and playing his senior season at the La Lumiere School in Indiana.
Webber boasts offers from California, Cincinnati, Creighton, Nebraska, Purdue and others. The blue-chip recruit unofficially visited Nebraska last fall and has scheduled an official visit to Purdue for later this month.

Tennessee does not hold a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle but its board is beginning to come into place. Four-star point guard Miles Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee in late August while five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr and four-star wing Bryson Howard are officially visiting Tennessee the same weekend in October.
The Vols also hosted four-star wing Gage Mayfield, four-star shooting guard Junior County and three-star point guard Sam “Deuce” Simmons Jr on visits over the summer. County excluded Tennessee from his top five last month while Simmons was further down Tennessee’s board and committed to Richmond.
Howard and Mayfield join Webber as Tennessee’s top wing targets in the 2026 recruiting cycle at this stage though the Vols are pursuing others but have not hosted or scheduled visits with any others.
Rick Barnes and his staff also have interest in LaTrell Almond, Emmanuel Green, Bo Ogden and other blue-chip prospects but we’ll see if Tennessee gets them on campus and become serious players in their recruitments.
