With Joey Aguilar playing the entire first half and Jake Merklinger, George MacIntyre and Mason Phillips cleaning up the second half, UT produced multiple program modern-era records in the game.

Afterward, Heupel met with the media and discussed the quartet of signal callers’ performances against the FCS opponent. Here’s a look at what he said and how each quarterback fared.

“George and Jake, when they got in the football game, they had big scrambles, pocket movement that extended drives and created plays out on the perimeter. So all in all, really good performance by them.”
