Tennessee basketball released its tipoff times and broadcast details for most of its 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Vols season opener against Mercer is less than a month away while their exhibition battle against Duke is 2.5 weeks away.
Speaking of that exhibition game against Duke, it’s getting some big time treatment for an exhibition game with ESPN2 broadcasting the matchup. After that, four of Tennessee’s five buy games to open the season are only streaming on the SEC Network+.
Premier non conference matchups against Illinois and Louisville are on ESPN while ESPN2 is broadcasting Tennessee’s matchup with Syracuse in the ACC-SEC Challenge. Including the two non conference matchups, Tennessee has five games locked in as ESPN games while seven other games are possible to flex into the ESPN broadcasts.
Once SEC play begins, get ready for late nights. Seven of Tennessee’s 18 SEC games tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET or later including road Saturday games against Alabama and Kentucky. The Vols top Saturday home games are matchups against Kentucky (noon), Auburn (8:30) and Alabama (6:30).
