After an open date on Saturday, Tennessee football will be back in action on Nov. 15 for an out-of-conference clash with New Mexico State. To open the week, DraftKings has the Vols listed as 39.5-point favorites for the contest.

Currently, Vegas does not have moneyline odds or an over/under point total listed for the game.

Tennessee is 6-3 on the season, but just 4-5 against the spread. On the other side of things, NMSU is just 3-6 in games, but 4-5 against the spread.

Of the nine games the Vols have played in, seven have gone over the listed point total. The Aggies have had their games go over just three times. For the five games played inside Neyland Stadium this year, there is an average of 75.8 points scored between the two teams. Those games have gone over in four of the five contests.

Kickoff between Tennessee and New Mexico State is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET and will air on SEC Network. It marks Homecoming and the ‘Salute to Service’ game for the Vols. UT will wear its latest and final edition of the ‘Smokey Grey‘ uniforms produced by Nike. It concludes the four different sets in four years that Nike committed to. Starting next season, the Vol will wear adidas uniforms.

This will be the first time Tennessee and New Mexico State have ever played in football.

After the game against NMSU, the Vols have a pair of SEC bouts remaining. The following week, Tennessee goes to Gainesville to face a reeling Florida team. The Gators just benched DJ Lagway in a blowout loss to Kentucky, but are noncommittal to what the position will look like going forward.

Then, to round out the year, the Vols host Vanderbilt in what could be a win-and-in game for the Commodores and their playoff hopes, just as it was for Tennessee in Nashville last season.
