Tennessee Football returned to a standard game-week media schedule on Monday afternoon with press conferences from head coach Josh Heupel and a handful of UT players. The Vols are coming off a bye week following the loss to Oklahoma as the team prepares for the final stretch of the season against New Mexico State in Knoxville, Florida in Gainesville, and Vanderbilt in Knoxville.

Tennessee’s playoff chances are at a tiny level right now, but there’s still a lot left on the table for the Vols to finish the year strong and build some momentum heading into the offseason – especially with the two rivalry games to close things out.

The Vols will host the New Mexico State Aggies this Saturday at 4:15 p.m. ET to begin the final quarter of the season.

Heupel spoke to the media on Monday for nearly nine minutes, discussing topics ranging from this weekend’s game against the Aggies to Joey Aguilar’s passing success, Braylon Staley’s emergence and tackling habits. Tennessee also had a pair of players speak to the media off the open week, including QB Joey Aguilar and RB DeSean Bishop.
